Richer moisture. Deeper repair. A very light herbal scent.
Your colder-weather skin fix. As the weather gets drier your skin needs more repair.
Meet The Great Skin Repair, our richer face oil created to deeply nourish skin and help it hold on to the moisture it needs to look smoother, plumper, healthier, and more luminous (especially when weather gets a little drier).
At the heart of it is Tiger Grass—also known as gotu kola or Centella Asiatica. It is the core ingredient in many Asian skincare products (especially Korean) for its repairing properties.
The two stars compounds in Tiger Grass is asiaticoside + madecassoside. They’re the reason Tiger Grass is associated with supporting collagen, helping stressed skin recover, and making skin look stronger, smoother, and plumper. A fibroblast study found asiaticoside increased type-I collagen signaling; another comparative study identified asiaticoside and madecassoside as key skin repair compounds.
We slowly infuse Tiger Grass in jojoba oil, then blend it with vitamin-rich rosehip and vitamin E to help soften the look of dryness lines and old marks while restoring that healthy, rested glow.
- Deep moisture without a heavy feel
- Stronger, healthier-looking skin
- Softer-looking fine lines and old marks
- A very light, subtle herbal scent
What makes this product different from our other Face Oils?
The Great Skin Repair is just slightly more emollient than our other face oils, offering a little extra richness when changes in the weather leave your skin feeling drier. Think of it as a small step up in moisture when needed but it's not heavy oil.
Made to work with your Sweetwater routine
All our face oils and serums are formulated to work together, so you can mix and layer them to suit how your skin feels. Use it on its own or combine it with your other Sweetwater face products.
How to use
Warm 3–5 drops between your palms and press into face and neck after your serum or moisturizer, morning and night.
1 fl oz / 30 ml
Ingredients
Centella asiatica, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, vitamin E.
Why is Centella Asiatica called Tiger Grass? According to legend, centuries ago people noticed injured tigers rolled in its leaves to repair and soothe their wounds. Since then Gotu Kola (another name for Tiger Grass) has been incorporated into wound healing and Asian skin-repair products.
