Bulgarian Rose Oil

Found in: Rose Face Oil

A pure essential oil steam-distilled from Rosa damascena petals grown in Bulgaria's Rose Valley, prized in skincare for centuries. Contains geraniol, a compound that helps activate skin's natural renewal process, calm redness, and support a firmer, more even-toned appearance. Sweetwater Labs' Rose Face Oil is made from over 100 roses per bottle.

Argan Oil

Found in: Rose Face Oil

A nutrient-dense oil pressed from the kernels of the Moroccan argan tree, rich in fatty acids and vitamin E. Helps replenish the skin barrier and lock in moisture without feeling heavy, making it a common pairing with rose oil in natural face oil formulas.

Rose Geranium Oil

Found in: Rose Face Oil

An essential oil distilled from the geranium plant with a rosy, herbaceous scent. Often used alongside rose oil to help balance oil production and support an even-looking complexion.

Almond Oil

Found in: Rose Face Oil

A lightweight, fast-absorbing oil rich in vitamin E and fatty acids. Softens and smooths the skin's surface while helping other oils in a blend spread evenly without feeling greasy.

Jojoba Oil

Found in: Rose Face Oil, Vitamin Face Serum

Technically a liquid wax, not an oil, jojoba closely resembles the skin's own natural sebum. This makes it easy for skin to absorb without clogging pores, which is why it appears in both the Rose Face Oil and the Vitamin Face Serum.

Hyaluronic Acid

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum

A moisture-binding molecule naturally found in skin that declines with age. It can hold many times its weight in water, helping skin look plumper and more hydrated. A core ingredient in the Vitamin Face Serum.

Vitamin C Ester

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum

A more stable, less irritating form of vitamin C than the common ascorbic acid version found in most serums. It breaks down more slowly, stays potent longer, and absorbs into skin more easily — helping brighten tone and fight free radical damage without the sting some vitamin C products cause.

Squalane

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum, Firming Booster

A stable, lightweight moisturizing oil that mimics a lipid naturally produced by skin. Helps seal in hydration, supports the skin barrier, and is gentle enough for acne-prone and eczema-prone skin. Sweetwater Labs uses a vegetable-derived (olive-based) squalane in both the Vitamin Face Serum and the Firming Booster.

Aloe (Aloe Vera)

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum, Rosewater + Aloe Mist

A soothing plant extract known for its cooling, anti-inflammatory properties. Helps calm irritation and redness while adding a layer of hydration, which is why it appears in both the Vitamin Face Serum and the Rosewater + Aloe Mist.

Vitamin E

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum, Rosewater + Aloe Mist

A fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect skin cells from environmental stress and supports the skin's natural repair process. Found in the Vitamin Face Serum and naturally present in the Rosewater + Aloe Mist.

Propolis

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum

A resin-like substance bees produce to protect their hives, valued in skincare for its healing and soothing properties. Supports skin recovery and adds an extra layer of antioxidant protection to the Vitamin Face Serum.

Lavender Oil

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum

An essential oil known for its calming scent and skin-soothing properties. Helps offset any potential sensitivity from the serum's active ingredients, keeping the overall formula gentle.

Ferulic Acid

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum

A plant-based antioxidant that helps stabilize and boost the effectiveness of vitamin C and vitamin E when used together, a combination well known in skincare formulation for enhancing antioxidant protection against environmental damage.

Leucidal

Found in: Vitamin Face Serum

A natural preservative derived from radish root fermentation. Used in place of synthetic preservatives to extend the shelf life of the Vitamin Face Serum while keeping the formula as natural as possible.

Sea Kelp Ferment Filtrate

Found in: Firming Booster

A nutrient-rich marine extract (the main active in Sweetwater Labs' Firming Booster) packed with naturally occurring compounds that support collagen production, hydration, and skin repair. Notably, this is the same category of ingredient used as the hero ingredient in some of the most well-known luxury skincare lines.

Retinol

Found in: Firming Booster

A well-studied vitamin A derivative that speeds up cell turnover, supports collagen production, and helps reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Best used at night, as it can increase sun sensitivity during the day. Important: people with fish allergies should not use products containing retinol, including the Firming Booster — always check with a doctor if unsure.

Prickly Pear Oil

Found in: Firming Booster

An antioxidant-rich oil pressed from cactus seeds, valued for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Supports collagen production and faster cell turnover, rounding out the Firming Booster's anti-aging blend.

Bulgarian Rosewater

Found in: Rosewater + Aloe Mist

A gentle hydrosol made by steam-distilling Bulgarian rose petals. Lighter than rose oil, it hydrates, calms, and lightly tones skin, forming the base of the Rosewater + Aloe Mist.

Glycerin

Found in: Rosewater + Aloe Mist

A naturally derived humectant that draws moisture into the skin and helps it stay there. Used in small amounts to boost the hydrating effect of the Rosewater + Aloe Mist without making it feel sticky.
